Let’s talk about Trust. I have noticed that we often talk about the importance of Trust in relation to the team, to subordinates, to managers, to spouses and to politicians. Furthermore, we all know that trust is necessary and important for all people. But how can we build good, long-term relationships in practice? How can we get team members to concentrate on trust development? What practical tools and exercises can help us to build or strengthen Trust?
He's going to present you the Team Trust canvas, a practical instrument which can help you to grow your team trust. We will discuss may this instrument be useful and how to apply it.

Opis:
Bawię się w turystykę konferencyjną, wykładając, prezentując i dzieląc się z ludżmi swoją frustracją co do stanu naszej branży jak i całej ludzkości jako takiej od 2000 roku, z lepszym czy też gorszym skutkiem. W czasie tej podróży uzbierało się już trochę materiału. Ta prezentacja to swego rodzaju klamra domykająca pewną historię, historię 3 różnych prezentacji, swoistego tryptyku, ku zapomnieniu przez potomnych.
Dekonstrukcja architektury, wzorce organicznej architektury i systematyczny architekt, bo o nich mowa to trzy rózne prezentacje mające na celu wywrócić nasze postrzeganie architektury. Czy mi się udało? Czy gdzieś popełniłem błedy? Spróbuje zanurzyć się z wami w mój świat teorii systemów, pętli zwrotnych, pułapek systemowych i punktów wyniesienia by pokazać że architektura może i nawet jej obowiąziem jest być otwarta na ewolucję i eksperyment. Chciałbym wam opowiedzieć,
jak to myślenie działało w róznych projektach zarówno tych zwinnych jak i prowadzonych metodologiami których nazw wymieniać nie wolno. Przekonam was,mam nadzieje, że architekt, to stan umysłu, a nie pozycja czy tytuły.

O Jarku: 
Od ponad 15 lat w branży IT, jako administrator baz danych, programista, architekt, manager i „inżynier od spraw katastrof”. Brałem udział w małych, średnich i nonsensownie dużych projektach, prowadzonych zgodnie zasadami „waterfall”, Agile oraz przy braku jakichkolwiek metodyk, z tym samym zawsze skutkiem. Co doprowadziło mnie do wniosku, że nie ważne co robisz tak długo, jak robisz to dobrze, w najprostszy z możliwych sposobów i używasz właściwych narzędzi które wykonają pracę za ciebie. W międzyczasie dałem się porwać ideą TDD oraz Software Craftmanship, do granic możliwości wyeksploatować tak piękne w swej prostocie pomysły jak REST i NoSQL, by potem porzucić je by zgłębić tajniki „system thinking” i zachwycić się siłą jaką niesie z sobą „metafora” i odkryć, że rządzą nami te same prawa „natury”. Niepokorny wyznawca kościoła JVM, badacz bytecode'u i JIT oraz wszelkiej maści parserów, interpeterów i kompilatorów. Od czasu do czasu można usłyszeć moje niskiej jakości żarty na temat architektury na konferencjach w Polsce. 15 grudnia - Przemysław Kadela: "PM i PO w jednym - czy to możliwe?"

Na ostatnim spotkaniu w 2015 roku, będziemy mieli przyjemność gościć na scenie Przemka Kadelę, który opowie nam o swoim doświadczeniu jako Product Owner i Project Manager w jednej osobie.

O prezentacji: "PM i PO w jednym - czy to możliwe?"
Przez około dwa lata pełniłem funkcje Project Manager i Product Owner jednocześnie. Chcę pokazać moją wizję tych dwóch ról i pokazać czy i w jakim zakresie jedna osoba może je równocześnie pełnić. Natknąłem się na sytuacje, gdy ta dwoistość mi pomagała i sprawiała, że mogę szybciej reagować na zmiany. Bywałem czasami takim POem, któremu ciążył PM .... i niekiedy PMem, któremu przeszkadzał PO. Udało mi się przetrwać dwa lata łącząc te role i odniosłem umiarkowany sukces w kontekście produktu.
Zapraszam na spotkanie, na którym podzielę się moimi doświadczeniami.

W branży IT od 1998 roku. Pasjonat informatyki, Agile i psychologii - łączy te pasje pełniąc rolę Agile Coacha w krakowskim Sabre. Poprzednio pracował jako Project Manager i Product Owner starając się połączyć te dwie funkcję w możliwie najlepszy sposób. Certyfikowany Scrum Master i Product Owner. Nauczyciel akademicki z wieloletnim stażem, związany z Uniwersytetem Jagiellońskim.

In software development, regardless of what we do, we need to be learning all the time.  Many times it is only the application. Sometimes it is new methods and processes. Sometimes it is new ways to analyze, develop or test an application.  It may be new languages or new tools. Perhaps most importantly, we learn different ways of dealing with people. In today’s world, testers are expected to have ‘soft skills’ to collaborate as well as have more technical knowledge than ever before.  Janet Gregory share ideas about how to approach this learning curve and the different influences which help us succeed.

About Janet:

Janet Gregory is a Calgary-based consultant, specializing building quality systems. Her passion is promoting agile quality processes in software development.

She is co-author with Lisa Crispin of Agile Testing: A Practical Guide for Testers and Agile Teams (Addison-Wesley, 2009).

Janet has helped introduce agile practices into companies as tester or coach, and has successfully transitioned traditional test teams into the agile world. Her focus is working the business users and testers to understand their role in agile projects. She practices Lean principles, Extreme Programming, and SCRUM. Her experience as a QA Manager both in a traditional and in agile environments gives her an understanding of the issues faced by most teams. She has introduced lasting change into organizations.

We're happy to announce our special guest from Sweden. On November 4th Arne Ahlander, Certified Scrum Trainer and Management 3.0 Facilitator will tell us how to become successful Product Owner.

Description:
It is far too common for a newly appointed Product Owner to be left alone without any instructions or ideas of how to succeed than we care to imagine. The role of the Product Owner is different from traditional roles and in order to survive as a Product Owner new learning is necessary. In order to become a successful Product Owner you don’t only need a vision, you also need good tools, principles and practices.

In this session I will go through a number of principles, tools and practices that can help you to become more successful in your role regardless if you are new in the role or more experienced. After the session you will have a collection of principles, tools and practices to apply directly when returning home after the conference.

Participants will learn:

• Different ways of creating and communicating a product vision
• Principles to follow in order to become a successful Product Owner
• Tools and practices suitable for a Product Owner

About Arne:
Arne Ahlander is a Lean and Agile Product Management expert. He has a deep background in Agile software development and in particular Scrum. He is a principal consultant, coach and trainer in his own company Aqqurite. Agile, Lean and Process Improvement are key elements in Arne’s collaboration with the management teams of his customers. Since 1994 Arne has been working within consulting, Product Management and Management. He brings with him extensive experience from Management positions within IT and Telecom. Arne has worked for large and small customers in Sweden, Scandinavia, Europe and Asia. The assignments have covered coaching, consulting and training.He is a Certified Scrum Trainer and has personally trained thousands of developers and managers in software best practices. Arne is a Training from the Back of the Room Certified Trainer. In between customer assignments and training classes Arne also is a presenter at conferences within Agile and Lean.
