Agile Central Europe Conference in Krakow

ALE Krakow is promoting all events related to Agile and Lean, especially those happening in Krakow. We're proud to announce, that we've become partner of Agile Central Europe Conference (ACE!) that will take place at Stara Zajezdnia in Krakow, on 16-17 June 2014.

About ACE!
ACE! was founded in 2009 to create a friendly space where lean and agile software practitioners could share the best and newest ideas in the craft of creating excellent software. ACE! is the largest regional conference of its kind in Central Europe, attracting people from all over the region. The innovative ACE! format, premiered in 2011, and successfully copied by many other events since, means that speakers have the undivided attention of all of the attendees during a short presentation, followed by the opportunity to explore their ideas in much more detail in small group sessions with only the most enthusiastic audience members. ACE! brings together some of the best-known agile and lean practitioners in Europe and abroad, so you're sure to have a great networking experience and come away with new ideas and enthusiasm. ACE! is a relatively small conference, welcoming only 350 attendees, which is big enough to encourage a lot of diversity of thought and experience, but small enough to encourage conversation and sharing.

February 24: Paul Klipp - Dumb shit I did

We'd like to invite you to February session.

Paul Klipp: Dumb shit I did

Abstract: I'm not an idiot, and I don't hire idiots, but in almost twenty years of making software, I've done some really dumb stuff. In this talk, I'll review some of the dumbest stuff I've ever done, and it's dumb stuff I still see many teams at different companies doing. You'll probably see some dumb stuff that you stopped doing and you can feel smug about that, but you'll probably recognize a few dumb things that you're still doing. Afterwards, if anyone is feeling brave, we can all talk about other dumb stuff you're doing and so together we can try to reduce at least a little bit the dumb stuff that we do so that we have time to make start making some different mistakes.

About Speaker: Paul Klipp is a seasoned expert in agile software development, starting with Extreme Programming in 2004, Scrum in 2006, and Kanban in 2008. Paul is the founder and an agile coach at Lunar Logic, owner at Kanbanery and the organizer of the ACE! Conference. He has an MBA from the University of Illinois and did post-graduate studies in management of technology at the University of Warwick. He is a Certified Scrum Practitioner (Scrum Alliance) and a certified Kanban Coaching Professional (Lean Kanban University). Paul has studied the Kanban Method with the founder of Kanban, David Anderson. Since 1998, he has managed technology projects on three continents with teams ranging from 2 to 250 developers serving a wide variety of industries. He has spoken at numerous technology conferences on agile and kanban methods. Over the years, he has been invited to speak and consult around the world on various issues related to maximizing the business value of emerging technologies and has taught and coached agile development and project management.

20 stycznia: Michał Parkoła - Od produktywności do wartości

Witajcie w nowym roku. Zapraszamy serdecznie na styczniowe spotkanie ALE Krakow, na którym spotkacie Michała Parkołę z Fluid Circle.

Tytuł: Od produktywności do wartości, czyli o czym zapomnieli twórcy Agile kopiując rozwiązania Toma Gilba

Pomagał zastosować Agile m. in. w zespołach IT w Grupie Gemius. Uczył Scrum pracowników PZU, Roche, X-Trade Brokers czy Agencji Rynku Rolnego i innych. Ostatnio zadeklarowany Gilbista.

Pozdrawiamy

Dumni organizatorzy ALE 2014.
